A big-screen clock that keeps going when the Wi-Fi doesn't, and dealer phones that track busts, rebuys, add-ons and every dollar collected. Built for volunteer-run charity poker nights.
Generic poker timers are built for card rooms. Fundraisers have volunteer dealers, first-time players, sponsors to thank and a cash box to reconcile at the end of the night.
The TV clock is one file on a laptop. If the hall's Wi-Fi drops or there isn't any, the clock keeps running, and it picks up where it left off after a refresh or a sleep.
Dealers record busts, rebuys, add-ons and late entries from their own phones. They find the player by typing a few letters. There's no app to install, and it holds entries until the signal comes back.
Cash, a tab or a POS receipt are recorded per dealer and per player. PayPal QR payments can be switched on too. No paper cards, and no holding guests' credit cards.
Logos and the prize board rotate beside the clock, weighted to your biggest supporters, then fill the screen on every break.
Players left, chips in play, average stack and average in big blinds are always on screen. Every bust is kept for a standings list you can print or download.
Learning rounds show a hand rankings chart. A "Game time" call raises the stakes, and rebuy and add-on reminders show up exactly when they apply.
The cashier sees what is still owed in real time, so nothing gets missed at the end of the night.
There's no server to run at the venue and no special hardware: just a laptop, a TV and the phones your volunteers already carry.
Fill in blinds, breaks, chip color-ups, rebuy and add-on rules, sponsors and prizes in one settings file.
Open the clock in Chrome on a laptop connected to the TV and go fullscreen. Space starts it, and the arrow keys handle the rest.
Dealers open the staff page on their phones and enter the PIN, and the night's busts and sales start flowing in.
